ARCC is offering to sponsor one Amateur competitor in the 2025 Equimillion, which will take place across the October long weekend at Sydney International Equestrian Centre. The intention of this sponsorship is to enable someone to compete who would not be able to without a sponsor.
The calendar for the events across the weekend is as follows:
Friday 3rd October – Dressage
Saturday 4th October – Show Thoroughbred and Eventing Dressage
Sunday 5th October – Eventing Jumping and Cross Country
Monday 6th October – Jumping
APPLICATIONS FOR SPONSORSHIP ARE NOW OPEN
Australian Racing Christian Chaplaincy is offering to sponsor one rider to the value of $1,100 to cover the cost of their nomination ($600+GST) and their competition fee ($400+GST).
To be eligible to apply for ARCC’s funding, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Horse and Rider eligible to compete in the Amateur division (CLICK HERE to assess eligibility)
- Rider is a current (or former) participant of the Australian Thoroughbred Racing/Breeding Industry
- Rider will have no other sponsor for themselves or their horses
Note: Preference will be giving to a rider who was involved in the care of their horse while it was in a racing stable.
Applications Close Friday 29th August.
The successful applicant will be determined by representatives of Australian Racing Christian Chaplaincy at their sole discretion and contacted by phone and email on Friday 5th of September. An announcement will follow, naming the rider competing on behalf of ARCC. Riders must be available for photo and media opportunities.
