2026 EOFY Appeal
Life in racing is unpredictable and often difficult. Racing people face pressures that most never see—early mornings, financial strain, personal sacrifice, and the emotional highs and lows that come with life on the track.
And each year seems more challenging than the preceding one.
ARCC has set as it’s Strategic Intent to double our impact across Australia between 2025 & 2027. We will do this by having more chaplains spending more time at more places whilst retaining every chaplain we currently support.
To help facilitate this we have brought on the Rev. Ian Jones as our Chaplain overseeing South East Queensland. Ian will both serve as Chaplain and identify new areas for racing chaplains to serve. For twenty years Ian has been the Baptist Pastor at the Church at the Gabba and we are excited to have him on the team. Ian joins Mrs. Debbie Priestley and the Rev. Colin Watts as our only remunerated Chaplains as we support an additional dozen volunteer Chaplains across the country.
To meet this vision, we need your help. Your generosity ensures chaplains can continue walking alongside people in racing, wherever they are and whenever they need it most.
